Yeah, but you're the Older Generation here. Early Keith and Donna era, right?

You really had "Christian Education" at a public school? When and where was that?!? Uh, I remember that in First Grade we sang Dreidel Dreidel for the holiday program. Different neighborhoods, I guess. We did the Pledge of Allegiance.

Seems to me kids today still play in weather extremes, wherever they live. Blizzard = Fun. That's because they're kids, and hence insane.

Actually my kid could go mano-a-mano with any "old-timer" as far as non-wussified lifestyle goes, but that probably doesn't count. (Bet you never swam in the river with water buffaloes. And I bet you mostly did have electricity and running water. My kid'll be able to say "I used to fetch water from the wall," cuz sometimes we have to. Aren't I a nice mom, to provide him with stories like that?)

Btw I've bleached the cutting boards maybe once and I live in the Third World. And I thaw meat on the counter. I didn't even know that was a no-no.
